Karmadharana (Lynda Robinson), AYT-L2, RYT 500

Lynda Robinson, Satyananda Yoga Instructor at Atma Center

Lynda started yoga while she was in college, finding it to be a great source of community, stress relief, and increased flexibility.  Later, as an Occupational Therapist, she realized how yogic principles and practices could be applied to the rehabilitation field.

Lynda finds that yoga has enhanced her knowledge of the important link between mind and body.  She writes: "I teach yoga from a therapeutic perspective as well as from a wellness perspective.  Yoga addresses the spirit and energy body like no other system of wellness.  My passion is to promote wellness as well as practice it."

Lynda has two children (you can read about how Lynda used yoga during her pregnancy in our October 2007 Yoga Connection newsletter).  In her free time, Lynda works with her husband to restore a century home (built circa 1876) in Ohio City.
