
Chinmaya began yoga in the mid-1990s when a friend brought her to an introductory Sivananda class in New York. Besides her training in SATYANANDA YOGA®, she has also investigated Iyengar yoga, vinyasa, kundalini, and tai chi. She teaches to bring the benefits of healing and body awareness to others.
Satyananda Yoga has definitely had a large impact on Chinmaya's life - she met her husband during a Yogic Studies course!
