Lina Chae instructs the following:
  • Meditation in Motion (3 wk series)
  • Class Type: Active


    Cultivate the mind, body, breath connection through movements that promote a supple spine. Improve body awareness, proprioception and balance.


    This is a movement class incorporating aspects from qigong and yoga. Each movement is continuous and fluid to advance a more agile body. Once the movement is established, students are guided toward breath awareness and meditation within the movement.


    This is not a vinyasa nor a slow flow class

  • Journey into Stillness (3 wk series)
  • Class Type: Inactive


    Self exploration by challenging the mind and body through long held poses. Improved mind/body awareness and flexibility.


    This class focuses on the inner, subtle body while holding passive poses for a longer period of time and accesses the connective tissues of the body. Students are invited to explore their edge -- both physically and mentally -- to observe the present.


    Light, gentle placement of hands on areas of the body with tension may be provided. This is to further facilitate release of the muscles around the bones and the connective tissues.

    This is not a simple stretching class
