Deb Smith's professional background as an anesthetist and a massothrapist enables her to handle a wide variety of physical concerns. Deb can tailor practices to your unique anatomical structure and needs, allowing you to deepen your yoga practice with safety and confidence.

Deb Smith instructs the following:
  • Restorative Yoga: Opening to Healing Energy
  • Restorative yoga is total comfort, support, and centering to open into inner peace and deep healing. Spend 2 hours with blankets, blocks and gravity to deeply relax the body, expand the breath, calm the emotions, and refresh the mind.

    The session will consist of gentle, floor-based poses, and is suitable for all, regardless of yoga experience or current health condition.
    Attendance strictly limited - sign up early.

    Investment: $35 through Dec 3rd; $40 thereafter

    Atma Center workshops: Refunds, less a $25 processing fee, are available up to one week before workshop date as credit toward another Atma Center workshop or studio class. NO REFUNDS given thereafter.

  • Foundation B (aka Classical)
  • This class increases core strength and flexibility through an exploration of classic postures such as triangle, half camel and the poses of Sun Salutation. Breathing practices and meditations increase lung capacity and relieve stress.

  • Intermediate Lite (experience required)
  • These 90 minute classes often include themes which are developed over weeks to more fully progress the practices. Lite version has less difficult asanas but goes deeply into the other practices. Chakras, mudras, bandhas, mantras and more are explored. You should have good familiarity of all prior levels above and be able to sit comfortably still for 20-30 minutes.
